Kerieva is a mysterious and charismatic performer, who thoroughly engages her audiences.
Born into a musical family, whose lineages include Manouche (Gypsy) and Irish descent, Kerieva’s life has been anything but sedentary, her earliest public performances being at the tender age of 8.
Never feeling completely accepted into UK society, where she was educated, she spent many years grappling with various aspects of her identity.
Eventually she returned to Eastern Europe/Balkans and activism, working as a political advocate of Romani issues with local groups, N.G.O’s and Roma survivors of the Holocaust.
This long and circuitous path led her, once more, back to focussing on her music.
Compelled to finally document in song her inspiring stories and experiences, Kerieva, (now living between Ireland, Spain and Hungary), wrote and recorded her long-awaited self-titled album, due for release shortly.
Her music traverses through a beguiling mix of influences –
Gypsy jazz, ska, rhumba, cabaret and trad - sung in an array of languages including dialects of Romanés, (the Gypsy language), enabling her to inhabit convincingly the characters of her songs. 
Watching Kerieva live you can expect a theatrically expressive performance as she hauntingly recreates through the intensity of her voice, the sounds, flavours and visual landscapes of her intriguing life.
